Natalie Amanda William

SAWO Intern Rural Outreach Coordinator

Biography

I have recently graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in women studies. I chose the field of psychology because I have grown an interest in the role and importance of mental health in a community especially in Sabah where we have the highest numbers of patients and cases and with women studies, I hope to bring more awareness of mental health in my community and especially among young girls and women to empower them and creating more leaders in our community. Joining SAWO in the few months after graduating has definitely helped me develop my leadership skills and gain more hands-on experience in the community through workshops and campaigns. I hope to further my knowledge and experience through this Bootcamp and bringing this back to my community.
