Undi 18 is a Malaysian grassroots movement spearheaded by Qyira Yusri and Tharma Pillai to lobby for equal rights and opportunities for the Malaysian Youth. In this session, Undi 18 focuses on the importance of identifying and recruiting key individuals and organizations with influence who believe in the cause. By doing so, participants will be able to leverage their knowledge, networks, and public presence to help push the campaign further. The session outlines UNDI 18’s success story in being able to lower the Malaysian voting age to 18, doing so by aligning themselves with prominent governing leaders.
